Creativity and the Musical Brain
What is the relationship between music and our creativity or ability to learn?
Recently I watched the documentary, The Musical Brain, on SBS which illuminates how the brain uses music to shape the human experience. Featuring insights from Grammy Award-winning musicians Sting, Wyclef Jean, Michael Bublé, and Feist, it reveals how music is interpreted by those who create it and those who listen to it.

Designing help - writing for the designer
Even designers need help sometimes ... do you need help to ask a question that your target market will answer 'yes' to?
As a creative person comprising design, illustration, writing and more – I realise that sometimes a person can be too close to their own work (translation - website), to be objective and it’s wise to enlist a reliable and trusted person to give an outside overview and to make suggestions. Flavor Enhancer dangers including 635; plus Cassava
02 Tue March 2010 Filed in: Health
I have long known to check labels for my family and avoid products containing flavour (flavor) enhancers such as 621 (MSG), food colourings including tartrazine and the yellow colours and more; but a member of my family innocently tried a new product two days ago, and had a major allergic reaction that included asthmatic symptoms, throat swelling with extra mucous and hoarseness and stomach upset. It took about 36 hours and 2 antihistamines to get them back to normal, and of course, very plain food without any additives.
