"Project your TRUE SELF via SELF EXPRESSION.
In a word FLY."
Ross Doig, Oct 2006
Much loved and loyal husband of Veronica, father and father-in-law of David and Prem, Catherine and Mark and grandfather of Joel.
Sadly, my uncle Ross Doig -artist, teacher, botanist, horticulturist - passed away 16 Dec 2007, age 83 years.
So many people will have so many different and interesting memories - my family remember him fondly as a fascinating and supportive member of the family, together with my Aunty Vonnie.
In our childhood Uncle Ross appeared to me as this extraordinary, eccentric, talented uncle who would photograph us and delight us with the treasures of his art studio and beloved bush trails on his property. He influenced both my mother (Shirley Williams) and myself (Karen Curran), to pursue art and to be creative.
I will miss him.
His niece, Karen Curran
